Experimenting with DoF/aperture. I've been playing the bagpipes for roughly ten years now, but like all of my other great pleasures in life, they've been replaced by classes, studying, and interning. After having them out for a reunion tonight, I decided to take a few shots of the details on the pipes. I have always really loved the look of the shiny silver combined with the white ivory and dark combed wood and hoped to capture those details in the photos.
